Cazengo, N Dalatambo
At the invitation of the Joint Committee on Human Rights of Kwanza – Norte, Mosaiko | Institute for citizenship facilitated a seminar on Human Rights in the Family which took place 28-30 October in the city of Cazengo. The seminar aimed to contribute to increasing knowledge of human rights in schools and create a space for reflection and debate on Human rights in N’ Dalatando .
The event, held in the amphitheater of the missionary school St. Maria Goretti, was attended by final year students of Moral and Civic Education of ICRA , teachers, members of the National Police, PROMAICA (Catholic Women’s Organisation), with a total of 60 participants.
The analysis of the family context in Ndalatando, family as an institution, the survivor’s pension, food provision and Domestic Violence, were among the topics discussed at the seminar that lasted three days.
The Seminar was supported by the European Union, the Embassy of the Netherlands , the FEC – Foundation of Evangelization and Cooperation , the Camões Institute and UNDP – United Nations Development Programme
